About Us

 Established in 2009 by Peggy Kolowinski and Shirleen Walker, Maxie Brake Release is a family-owned and operated company located in Auburn, WA. Former school bus drivers and Maxie Brake Release co-founders, Kolowinski and Walker, invented the Maxie Air Brake Release in an effort to ease the amount of pain they experienced from constantly setting the air brakes in school buses.
